Well, here's the deal. My best friend and I have the same birthday, and we want to organize a murder mystery party! We have two ideas central theme is a kind of masquerade, the theme of Venice, or just Halloween (u know, vampires, witches, the lot). It must be appropriate for adolescents. I did not want to spend all the money online gambling real history ... Could someone suggest a good murder story we could adapt? We have until October, so we have time. In fact, I had a very old hand painted Venetian masks, feathers and jewels in Murano glass .... suggestions? free websites would be useful!

Not free, but you can check out Oriental Trading Company on the web. Things are pretty cheap and you can get many things. Choose a mystery book to both of you. Discuss what you liked both. Write a summary on the history and work of a storyboard or write it. You guys can then plan how to act. Much luck to you.

I think the standard theme Halloween will be easier for teens to find costumes for. The theme of Venice would be cool, but suits would be costly.

Make sure you plan everything. I was the killer in a murder party once and was told about the signs and things, but they did not tell me how to announce that I was the murderer. Once people started to guess that I was, I did not know what to do.
