Is this a good idea to make a sterling silver wedding ring? I always thought in sterling silver was not as strong, and dull, unlike other types of "silver" jewelry, as platinum or white gold. Would it be a better bet to go w / one of these rather than sterling silver? Is it worth the cost of platinum in the end?
I like platinum and sterling silver, but my silver ring tarnish when I wore it every day (not just married to another ring). If you do not have a preference, I would go with white gold if you prefer the look of money.
the ring is not important ... it's your love questions ..
I would go with white gold. I do not know if tarnished sterling but I think so. I asked a jeweler if it is worth platinum gold white (because the "white" white gold rubbed off on a long time) She said you can get it restored. I think it is rhodium plated. It is also to consider that the titanium is relatively inexpensive.
Money is not strong enough to manage not only the daily wear, but years of daily use. You'd better go at least in white gold, except platinum, in the long term.
I have white gold and I love it, it is strong and bright.
Silver will tarnish, so you'd have to polish / clean. I have a white gold ring and I love it. It's all a matter of personal taste. I would not platinum unless I could afford it, white gold gives you the same look for a lower price. My vote is for white gold, less maintenance. Good luck.
If the silver ring has 925 inside a ring, so it is good enough that does not tarnish. Most silver rings are dipped in gold. You will nevertheless maintain the ring like any other piece of jewelry, if you like the look of money, so just go with white gold, I love. I think the deck is good but not worth all the buzz it gets. The ring of a word is not the issue, there are feelings for the other that would seal the deal.I marry my brother with a rubber band, but it's just good luck me.Good!
I have a sterling silver ring that I love, it's not my marriage, but I do wear it quite often. He must be polite because very often it tarnishes, so if you like the look of money, I set off with white gold. As others have said, platinum is very expensive and in white gold is just as beautiful. Someone also mentioned the titanium. My husband has a titanium wedding ring when we got married. It was relatively inexpensive, and it is very durable. However, if you are working with you much with your hands, most jewelers do not recommend them because the metal is so difficult, special equipment must be used to cut the band ... if you injure your hand and the tape must be cut, you may lose your finger before the tools to cut the ring can be located! This is just a warning that we received before my husband bought the ring. Good luck and congratulations!
Platinum is actually softer than white gold. I do not know how it compares to the money. If you look to get white gold, make sure it's actually made with white gold and yellow gold dipped no white gold. There is a difference. White gold is an alloy of various metals, gold, platinum, palladium, sometimes money and / or nickel, and coated with rhodium to shine more.
My wedding ring and engagement ring in white gold at a time.
Babe, the ring is not the thing.
its supposed to be on the love that you share the commitment you made to each other, and the life you have together.
if you can wear sterling silver and found a ring that you like, then get it. Do not worry what anyone thinks or says about it. its supposed to be the fact that he puts a ring on that finger of yours, it's not supposed to be on the way fancy, expensive or extravagant the ring!
So you have the ring you want, my.
