Attention beaders! How do I clean my tarnished silver findings? I have a bunch of jump rings, beads and silver chain, some of which have been sitting in some of my plastic containers to a few months. Some of them tarnished. What is the easiest way to clean? Plain silver jewelry clean?
An easy way to clean them is to use baking soda dry. rub them with it and they will come clean. You can use the palm of the money first, then dry and follow with baking soda. My grandmother let me polish money this way. The hollow leave a scummy surface after a certain time, and soda really ends lines (items especially the larger shows where the foam). Do not store all elements of money almost anything containing rubber, such as silver tarnishes rapidly sulfur.
Toothpaste, toothbrush and fresh water flowing ........
This works for silverware, so it should work on your jewelry.
Place items in a container with a piece of foil shiny side up. Add 2 TBLS .. baking soda and salt 1 TBLS. Pour hot water and soak 30 minutes more. Use a sheet of aluminum for contanier.
Whether it really money or not. While a money magnet will not stick to it.
own money work for real money or CLR will do as well. Be careful when you use one of them, they can cause irritation.
They are wiping / polishing now you can buy from a jeweler who erases your jewelry tarnish and takes off.
with CLR
dipped in a mild jewelry
