Hdtv Pc

I plan to move into an apartment with my PC as my entertainment center. Using my TV, I would like to connect my Wii and HDTV tuner. I guess I need a video card specifically for this purpose. What video card (or features in one) would I need? How do I get the HDTV signal (this type of tuner can I expect?) To play on my screen (my screen can display an HD signal).

You really do not want to connect your gaming console to a TV tuner. It will work ... but the TV tuner introduced a second delay between what your console is done and what is displayed on the screen. This is not much, but can cause Mario to fall off a ledge before you will be aware of what is happening.

In reality, you will have a screen that has the HD inputs. However they can be more expensive than a separate HDTV.

The cheapest way to record TV on your PC is to use a tuner - either an internal PCI card or a USB external enclosure.
