Ear Piercing Earrings

I have my cartilage pierced and I was looking to buy new earrings for the holes, but I did not know what I gauge earring need to buy to meet my existing holes. I was wondering if anyone knew what size earrings are normal because I did not really want to stretch my holes out or something like that. Thank you very much for your help!

Most regular earrings are 20 gauge or 22 ...

The higher the number the smaller the position of the earring!

They are usually around 18 gauge

18 or 20 gauge. If you are worried about stretching the hole to go to a professional piercer and ask them what they are daunting. They can give you a definitive answer.
