Cathedral Setting

Cathedral SettingWhat types of alliances work well with a solitary, cathedral setting engagement ring?

My Finace trying to find ideas on the best type of wedding band an affair with her engagement ring. The engagement ring is a 18kt white gold, cathedral setting with a round diamond, brilliant, 1.75tw. I would appreciate your ideas on the type of alliance that works well with the engagement ring. It is fairly standard when it comes to jewelry. Currently, we both think something with a little "sparkle" may work better with the diamond solitaire. Any thoughts or recommended resources would be greatly appreciated. We are trying to find ideas together before going to the jeweler. Thank you to all who respond!

I must answer this question. Sarolite, I do not know you, but I designed this ring in your first link some time ago. This is probably a copy that I notice some differences between the stones that I did not intend.

Anyway ... For the Groom Guy, when you say 1.75tw (TW = total weight) which involves other stones, is there? A nearly perfect match of the cathedral can be done. Depending on the width of the engagement ring is an envelope, or a guardian may not be practical. Want to keep this laptop every day. " If you want additional stones for the group, certainly diamond, you'll probably think of something at least 3 mm wide. A 0.03ct diamond is 2mm wide. What I give for reference. Ideally, you should at least 1 mm of gold on each side to take. Depending on how you want the scale of the group, which comes in. That (.03 ct dia) to about 4 mm wide. The best way to measure the width of the band you want to be is to try on bands of different widths. All jewelry must have a decent selection of bands available. Even if they are yellow, the width is what you choose. From there you can schedule the stones.

Here's what I see, a band corresponding to the slope of the ring, dropping down through the top to attract attention in the center stone ... I wish I could include a picture of this ... Diamonds channel set in the band.

I hope that the situation is not clear to you. If you speak with a designer about this, they will know exactly what I am getting. The number of diamonds for the group is entirely yours. Well done, others may be added later.

This is a ring I'd like to make. Kind of let me return to the bench.

I loved working in 18K. Man would I like the opportunity to make the ring you are considering. Thank you for choosing my answer! Flag

something that will make you both very happy everything will be fine in the ring ... go shopping

You might consider an alliance that acts as an ad for diamond solitaire. This is a band of white gold with two stones (diamonds, or it could choose another type of stone) that flank the solitaire and wrap around it to make it look like a set of three stones. This works very well for two reasons, it does not affect the Solitaire, it frames and stronger. In addition, the scarf is the Solitair in place and prevents it from turning from right to left.

her very personal preference ... but I think a solid band no thicker than the engagement ring or even an eternity band birthday /, thats what my husband gave me 4CT small diamonds going around the band for me is just make the engagement ring shine more

I think a group like this forever ... http://z.about.com/d/jewelry/1/0/Q/4/com
would be nice. I have a solitare and my alliance is like that, only diamonds are channel set. <.
